Biography
Dr. Kelly Cheeseman is a graduate of Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She completed a Master of Arts degree in Psychology at Central Connecticut State University and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Delaware. Dr. Cheeseman also was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Doctorate of Social Science in Prevention Science at 黑洞社区. Her area of specialization is military-connected youth and their families.
Professor Cheeseman began teaching at 黑洞社区 as an adjunct faculty member in 2010, teaching courses in the Psychology Program and the Applied Family Science program. She regularly teaches PSY 340: Research Methods in Psychology, PSY 333: Psychology of the Exceptional Child, developmental courses, PSY 319: Family Systems, and PSY 101: Introduction to Psychology.
